I am new but am very interested in eating clean, not only for the weight loss but for the health benefits. I am about 140 pounds overweight and can't seem to stay focused, so I am hoping that this will make me feel so much better that I won't want to go back to junk food. I posted my breakfast (I had done some research on the internet) but I'm not sure all my choices were good. I'd appreciate any input!

Slow and steady.
Eat clean and as close to nature as possible.
Avoid refined, highly processed foods.

I have always wanted to eat better and feel better. I was introduced to clean eating through a friend. My friend started her journey two years ago while her husband was deployed. It was amazing to see such a transformation in her. She was eating and exercising right. Her face glowed and she lost over 65lbs. In addition she helped her autistic child and seen a difference in him as well. Also she had been on medication for anxiety and depression, which she is off of. So I figured I have nothing to lose in developing my clean eating habits. I am going to try at least once a week eating a clean meal; more if I feel up to it. So just wanted to say Hi and state how I came about "Clean eaing" great websites www.cleaneatingmag.com or www.graciouspantry.
