Little Diva! A lot of us are just learning! I agree about the fiber bars and baked chips... for me, it is a temptation to go to canned breakfast shakes, because breakfast is hard for me to choke down in the morning, but important to level out my blood sugar as quickly as possible. Am trying different things like cheese and almonds to grab as a quick stabilizer if I don't have time for my favorite, egg-whites & salsa!

Yep, that's pretty much what clean eating is! And you can take it as far as you want to. Long ago I heard someone classify foods as "dead" (as is meat or was never alive - processed) or "live" like plants, grains, etc. NO matter what anyone else calls it I always think of those two classifications and try to eat as much "live" food as I can.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the clean eating concept but from what I can tell, in a nutshell it means eat as many nautral foods as possible and ditch the processed junk. Am I close? I'm hoping to learn more about it from you all and see if I can't adopt a healthier lifestyle along the way. I realized that I have turned to things like fiber bars for breakfast and mini bags of baked chips for snacks so often that they have become diet staples and not exceptions. That one little aha got me thinking about getting back to actual whole foods when I eat, even on the run. Can't wait to be a part of the team!
