Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I bought and read Tosca Reno's book a few weeks ago and it just TOTALLY makes sense! I knew that with travel I had already planned, it would be hard to shop and start prior to the trip, so here I am...day one of my life change. I am so excited that there is a SparkTeam for this journey. I had some success with Sparkpeople a few years back and have been sporatic in coming back in a checking up. I hope that this life change will not only benefit me, but my entire family. I feel better already just knowing that I am eliminating horrible foods with no nutritional benefit and that have actually been making me sick! Can't wait to get involved with this team and bounce ideas off each other for some new Clean Eating ideas.
