Hey Gurl...We have similar body types...last June, I was 175 at 5 3"! and I knew I was heading for trouble..I took drastic measures and cut out:
processed sugars - foods - artificial sweeteners...hell, ANYTHING artificial...
trans-fats and added salt...
Added...organic, whole foods, weight training, walking/rowing...
It made a HUGE difference in my life...and I still eat whatever I want...(but no junk)
