Here are some great books on lowering your cholesterol, getting rid of diabetes and losing weight, ect. These are vegetarian diets (I'm vegetarian so I find this easy to follow) but alot of people are lowering there cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes and alot of other things just by not eating animal products and eating more fruits and veggies. You can check them out from the library.
There are other books but these are my favorites. Hope this helps(even if you you don't go vegetarian the books still are great)
