You're doing awesome! A plateau is simply your body adapting. Maybe do a little more exercise or cut back a few calories. If you lost some weight your body will use fewer calories. I'm planning a trip to the Mediteranean next year. Must be cool to live over in Turkey.
Hi I recently joined SP and was attracted to this group as I relocated from U.K to Fethiye in Turkey in March this year. The life style her is so different to the U.K that I have lost 7KG in the first two months. This was mainly due to change in diet, ditching the car in favour of walking and cycling. As I am now retired I can concentrate on me for the first time in a long time. The reason I chose this group is because Turkey is a wonderful country to enjoy unadultarated food. The weight loss hit a plateu a month ago and I realise now that the changes have helped but I need to now make a more concentrated effort to fight the rest of the pound I need to lose. Currently I am 93KG and would like to acheive 78. Any help and advice would be appreciated. I look forward to getting to know lots of new friends.
