Electralyte, you're right. Hubby loves salt and finds the stuff I make lacking in flavor. He used to eat really crappy when he packed his own lunch. Being hypoglycemic he could afford the extra sugar in those packaged sweets. He's bringing healthier stuff for lunch and is open minded to my clean dinners, etc. I just hope I can get a handle on things for my weight and hopefully in time his taste buds will enjoy CE.

I just started journaling what I eat again. The guy at the natural food store talked about fiber and I'd gotten away from writing down food and calories. I am not keeping track, as best I can, of time, food eaten, calories, fat grams, protein grams and fiber grams. I always keep track of water and I log my exercise.

I'll do that for a while and then I'll reassess.

I went to go and look at what you have been eating, but it isn't shared. Would you mind telling us what a typical day of eating is for you? Maybe we can offer some reasons as to why you have experienced nothing positive.
Also, even though many clean eaters don't believe in counting calories, I, on the other hand, believe that may be true IF you are not trying to lose weight. If you are trying to lose weight I feel it is important to have some idea of your caloric intake.

I started about 6 weeks ago and haven't seen any change on the scale or the tape measure unfortunately. I haven't been a pure clean eater but I ramped up my exercise to daily and been doing fairly well for a beginner, in my opinion. I don't know why I haven't seen a positive difference at all :-(

After you eat clean for a while (and you have lost the weight) you will realize that it is a healthy lifestyle and you will have lost your taste for unhealthier foods. Cheap chocolate & sugary snacks are no longer my cravings. You will see! emoticon
