welcome, I also love to cook, read, ect. I use to do farmers market did organic gardening, but due to my body being overworked couldn't do it any more, but I am very proud to have done it for 10 years! Good luck

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. Hi everyone! I joined the team last week and wanted to introduce myself! My name is Val and I presently live in Chicago where I manage an independent coffee shop, write, read, and cook (amongst other things). I love real food and am glad that encouraging people to eat whole foods is a prominent feature of Spark. I love baking bread and since Christmas have been grinding my own flour and grains. I brew beer as well, though I'm certainly not drinking as much of it as I used to :-) A few times a week I post healthy tastes-spotting blogs on my sparkpage that feature some delicious recipe that I prepared (and enjoyed, naturally!) Come May I'll be working at the local farmers market where I have the pleasure of talking about food with people and get paid in all the organic vegetables I want! Can't wait! I look forward to sharing some stories and recipes with you all soon!
