my greatest weaknesses are getting bored with my program and losing gratitude for my support system. Each day I ask for the freshness of a day one and the reminder that I am better off not trying to go this alone .
Welcome Back, you will make it! A lot of us have fallen of the horse. I stopped for 4 months from last Nov to Feb and gained 12 pounds back. But I knew when I came back that it would come off with my determination. I have lost the weight since then and more. Just tell yourself how much better you will feel by the end of this week, by the end of next week and so on! Good Luck!
welcome back you sure have the right attitude. start very slow and it may help. change one thing this week ( maybe drink water) and then one more next week and it will be easier to stick with it and also to be successful which will keep you coming back. this method worked for me as going on a diet and exercising was too overwhelming after years of eating what ever i wanted and sitting on the couch reading or watching tv. best of luck to you

Welcome Back! Thanks for starting this thread. I was just sitting here talking myself out of going to work out with my trainer this evening after work and happened to read this thread. Your committment is inspiring and made me realize I need to stop giving in to my laziness. I started and then got lackadaisical while still working out and gained back 5 of the 10 lbs I had lost. I am recommitting to tracking my food and water and being consistent in working out. You can do it!

welcome back! I noticed that a lot of people start and aren't 100% committed, so they stop the SP life, and come back when they, like you, are 100% committed. I think that is the way it has to be. If you aren't 100% committed, it is too easy to convince yourself to take a day off of exercise, a week, and then it just snow balls! I started SP 100% committed after being wishy-washy for months with an exercise routine. I found and started SP and have been exercising pretty much daily for the last couple of months. Weekends are a maybe, maybe not, but since I am exercising Mon-Fri without fail, I don't mind the wishy-washy weekends!
Welcome back and good luck!

Hi, My name is Laura. Today I am re-joining the Sparkworld. I joined Sparkpeople earlier this year but did not keep up with it. I am still at the same weight from where I started and thats not without effort. In the past I have only been 40- 50% commited (Monday thru Wenesday- maybe Thurday... that's if I didn't have a really bad day...:) You know what I mean?... Well today I am 100% commited and will be until I reach my goal. I have been working out with a trainer- spending a lot of time and money and have gotten no where with my weight loss/ even inches lost effort. "You can not train a bad diet" So here I am...
