Hi Tia,

It's not easy, but you can make small changes that will become second nature and help you on your way. Then you can add some more.

The kids are an added challenge, but just do what you can! Take them for walks, take them to the park, get them moving too!

I am a mother of 4 boys so I understand how busy you are. In order to loose weight you have to find time to exercise and change your eating habits. Try not to think of it as diet food, but healthy food that makes you feel better. I started out walking/running, then a sparkfriend told me about the Supreme 90 workout..since I have been doing that I have lost 20 lbs. and inches quickly - its a very hard workout, but well worth it. You can purchase it at Bed Beth & Beyond for $20.00 - you will also need a yoga mat, exercise ball, and dumbbells.
As for eating healthy, sparkpeople has hundreds of recipes & make sure to track what you eat so you hold yourself accountable. Good luck to you - you can do it, just make time for yourself - it will make you feel better.

Hello everybody! My name is Tia, and I am a mother to 3 little kiddies. I have a daughter that is 3 yrs old, a son who is 1 1/2 yrs old and a son who is 3 months old, and I am trying to get rid of this weight. How in the world will I ever lose this weight I have no idea. My husband is also trying to lose weight. He has gained just as much as I have with the pregnancies. I tried the counting calories diet and that got blew out of the water, and to be honest I dont know what other way to lose the weight. I never have time to go and walk or run. I am also going to school to become a nurse. I would like to lose about 60 lbs, but I want to lose a good bit of that before march of 2012 and I know they say thats is not enough time to lose that much weight but it has to be done. I also need ideas on how to tone up all that after the weight is gone. If anybody has any ideas let me know. Im ready to be back in shape.
