Congratulations on losing the 20 and keeping it off! That is great!

They say the last 10 or 15 pounds is the hardest. However, if you can lose just one pound a month you will have lost 12 pounds in a year, and be only 3 pounds from goal. You do not need drastic dieting, just a little less food or a little more exercise.

Hi... Yes, you can do it. Who says you have to "exercise"? Just move more! Walk instead of drive your car, take extra trips bringing groceries from the car to the house, etc. Just move! and of course watch your eating habits. Once you start writing things down, you'll realize how much you eat, and what you eat. You will then be able to make better choices. The pounds will fall off. Trust me.

You have to take the negative thoughts from your brain, and replace them with good thoughts. If you continue to say "I can't lose weight", you won't lose weight. The power of the mind is crazy! You have to start saying "I can lose weight. I can do this. I will be 125 pounds". Feel it, and you'll achieve it.

And besides, keeping 20 pounds off for a year is remarkable, I don't care what anyone says! You're awesome, you deserve the best that you can be.

Time is the coin of life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it is spent.

You can do it! Your life is more important than you think! Diabetes is a dangerous thing. Don't think of it as dieting think of it as a way to take care of yourself. A way to live! A lifestyle! It is so much easier when you do that! :) That is what made it easier for me! I am helping myself and taking care of me! Good luck and keep up the good work!!
