Welcome to the team. I joined a few weeks ago and have looked at the exercises but unfortunately haven't managed to do them daily yet but am getting there.
It does make life a little easier especially with our abundance of excess weight and also for me with bad knees it takes the pressure off them.
Take care, Jennylee

May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us."
Hi Kathi! You're in the right place at the right time. Chair exercises are a good beginning to a fitness program. There are more than a few on this team who have used it begin and have ended up doing exercises beyond the chair.
On the Team Page you'll find Forums with great chair exercises, including gentle ones for the beginner. I encourage you to start your program... even if its with 10 minutes at a time. The time grows...and so does the effect.
Come back soon and post often. Those who interact with their online community have a higher level of success. Come on over to the Chat thread and get to know us. A fun group with lots of support and encouragement to share anytime.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Kathi and have been at SP for about a month now. Just getting started on exercise and I find that at my current weight, I am having trouble getting started. I thought maybe some chair exercises would help me until I get some pounds off and the ice has melted outside and I can at least get out and about. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
