Hello Everyone! My name is Annette and I have been a member of Sparkpeople for a long time, but only on the fringes. I have two daughters. They are both on their own now. I also have a granddaughter who is so special to me. I realized that I need to get involved more so I can encourage and so I can be encouraged. I lost 62 in three years without any encouragement from my family and over the last six months, I have gained 16 of those pounds back due to stress at work. The stress has caused emotional eating, but things at work have ironed them out for the most part and I'm getting myself back on track. I've decided rather than spending my time staring at pages that don't help me in any way, to do more searches on healthy living and reading my magazines that I have piling up to help me as well. I love to cook and bake and I'm learning to swap out the bad for the good to make healthier meals. Good to everyone on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. It's not a diet, is a total 180 degree lifestyle change!

My name is TURTLERAE55 and I do bring my lunch everyday and eat healthy lunches at work. I seen that sandwich and wanted to know if it was an egg salad which looked very tasty. Great work on hooking me end. LOL

If you go by the way side on an eating bing, just get up and start again. I always say I will be on a diet for the rest of my life because I love food. But since Spark People I can eat the right foods and not get out of control. Keep up the good work no matter what people say about you. Love yourself. Do it for yourself and no one else. This keep me going.

How's everyone doing? I just joined the team, though I have been a sparker for a while. I have recently renewed my efforts to eat more healthy. I work at an office and bring my lunch about 75% of the time. I am much better at bring healthy lunches when I can put them together on the weekend then just grab them in the morning when packing my cooler. I also make sure to pack plenty of fruit, vegetable and other healthy snack. Any ideas you have for make ahead lunches would be great. I hope to find some motivaton to switch things up from sandwiches, salads, and the occiasional left over. (Due to other activites I don't always have time to cook dinner or don't always have the money to make double batches.)
