Hi and welcome. Good coolers are affected by the temperature around them but hold their inside temperature longer than the loose seal coolers. There are coolers that have a cooling mechanism run by 12 volt dc current and plug into car cigarette/utility plugs. They keep a temperature that will preserve food unless you have real extreme conditions.
Hi! I'm Laura and I really need this team :) I'm a therapist who does homebased counseling, so I'm on the road Mon-Fri. I'm having a really hard time thinking of items to bring for lunch and snacks that won't go bad sitting in the hot car all day. I just got a cooler, but I'm not sure how long coolers actually stay cool.
Right now I"m stopping for fast food at least once a day - sometimes I make healthy choices, sometimes not. But financially, it's got to stop. I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches, although I love PB&J. I could probably do turkey or tuna but not very often. Any other idea?
