I do make my on salad from time to time. using lite salad dressing fresh herb and spices, lean meats,nut and fresh (season) fruit. Only salt added is the salt add to the pasta water and if I use a dressing with a lot of salt I don't add salt to the water. Some of us do have to watch salt intake, thanks for reminding me.
I like to do the Betty Crocker -Suddenly Pasta Salad you can add meat,veggie and fresh fruit and nuts to it. Some of the pasta salad have you add mayonnaise but I don't like mayo plus in dieting I find its not good to use alot of so I change it out with a lite or reg. vinaigrette with the dry mix in the box.
I also do a lot of green or mix salad,-it fresh can be top with any fresh veggie / fruit, meats and nuts.
I do stir and wraps as well beef, chicken, ham,and turkey again you can add your veggie/fruits, and nuts to it. I like to use to use the soft wheat taco shell went doing wraps.
I am new to the team, and would love to get great ideas for a healthy and quick lunch!................Lyn
