Thanks for the Delicious Welcome, it all sounds so good. I will try the couscous I have some in my pantry. and I like Peanut Butter and Bannana Sandwiches too yum, just never thought to bring them to work lol. Yes we do have a Refrigerator at work and also a microwave I just don't like going into our lunch room its gross lol.
A thermos of soup sounds good. Has anyone tried the Progresso zero point soup, its so good!

Hi Molly. Glad you are here. I like to bring tuna on whole wheat bread for lunch and peanut butter and banana on whole wheat bread for my lunches. I'm pretty boring when it comes to my lunches I bring to work. Today I brought left overs from dinner.

Hi Molly,

I also do alot of salads and yogurt. I like the idea of packing the bread separately from any sandwich ingredients. A number of couscous dishes that I make also are just as good cold or at room temperature as they are when they are warm. I make one that is chicken sprinkled with curry powder, sauteed with onion then throw in broccoli, red pepper, 1/4 cup raisins and 2 T brown sugar and 2 cups chicken broth. Bring it all to a boil and throw in about 1.5 cup whole wheat couscous. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes. This makes enough food for DH and I to eat it for dinner and then again at least once for lunch. As I said it is quite good cold or at room temperature.

Hope this helps,

Chris

Hiya Mollie and welcome to the team!
I don't have a microwave at work either, so I usually just prepare a salad in the mornings and bring it with me. Sometimes I make soup and bring it to work with me in a thermos.

Maybe you could pack the bread separately and make your sandwich at work before you eat it? I do that sometimes. Do you have a fridge at work?

You'll find some great ideas here.

Hi My name is Molly. I'm glad I found this team just in time too because I go back to work next month after being off on a medical leave. I am looking for lunch Ideas that I don't have to microwave. I don't like sandwiches that get soggy. And I am a Weight Watcher Member. My Point value amount for the day is 18 points. Hope to get some good Ideas. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
