I can surely relate to what you are going through! I am also hypothyroid and I love to Oxycise! although I have had to leave it off for a time. I hope to be back to it real soon. I probably didn't have to leave it off but that is another story. I am losing weight but still need the doctor to adjust my levels and I now that I have insurance I hope that I find a good one! So, glad that you are feeling better now and oxycising again! Hope to join you soon!

Thank you for the welcome.
Good job on your restart. I hope you have great success with it.
Welcome Amanda, I'm so glad you joined us. I too fell off the breathing wagon and am restarting again as of yesterday.
So sorry to hear of the trouble you've been having, it can really put our fitness plans in a tailspin sometimes.
So glad your back to huff and puff with us.

Deep breathing techniques which increase oxygen to the cells are the most important factors in living a disease free and energetic life. Remember, when cells get enough oxygen, cancer will not and cannot occur.”

"Being overweight is hard, losing weight is hard, maintaining a healthy weight is hard. Choose your hard."
I'm horribly shy and am never good at these welcome messages, but figured I should do one anyway.
My name is Amanda and I'm an Oxycise girl.
A little history...I have a thyroid problem and gain weight even when doing everything right. Once on, the pounds set up home and refuse to move. Oxycise is the only thing that makes a difference for me.
I used to be on SparkPeople as Oxymora (in reference to Oxycise), but ended up deleting that account out of frustration. The only thyroid medicine that actually worked for me became unavailable late last year and I quickly gained close to 30 pounds while the doctor was trying to adjust the dose on another one. On top of that, I was an emotional mess from the drastic changes with my thyroid and just ended up giving up.
My health is slowly evening out again and sanity has returned...so here I am, back and ready to breathe, eat right, and take control of my life again.
I am so excited to see a group devoted to breathing exercises and am looking forward to reaching goals with all of you.
