Welcome Jenny! I've been doing Oxycise off and on since 1998, too, and the last month I've been "off"!! But, today I did the Commuter routine 2 times, and I'm hoping it will get me going again. You'll enjoy this team. It's small but very supportive and IM4IKINGDOM is a wonderful leader!

Keep breathing and I hope you will be feeling better soon. I have been reading on the Oxycise forums lately and they mentioned over and over people bringing down their blood pressure and cholesterol with the program so here's hoping that will be an added benefit. emoticon

I also LOVE Oxycise!, especially the commuter routine! And I love to work out with Jill but I have to say that I like working out with her daughter, Aubrey Lee, in the Level 2 tape. I'm so excited to have you here with us! We have a post on the team to post our exercise minutes for each day of the month so feel free to start posting your exercise minutes. I am behind on it because I've had trouble using the website the past week so I hope to get going on posting my minutes again. It helps me to be accountable and encouraged. emoticon

Sorry to hear about all of your trauma... I really do hope things will be looking up - up - up for you. Just focus on consistency and the rest will come.

I just got back on SP. I am Jenny. Couldn't even remember my old page. This is my first stop. I need the encouragement and accountability. I've had several years of personal trauma and illness. We moved in December from Abilene, TX, with our things in storage until we found a house in the Ft.Worth/Dallas area. We were "homeless" for 3 months, living with our daughter and family. We wanted to be near children and grandchildren. In the past 3 years I've let the traumas win, and I've gained back the weight. I was working out with trainers twice a week, swimming and walking. And I have loved Oxycise since 1998. If I had kept doing it, I wouldn't be where I am today. It's the only breathing program I've ever tried. My Oxycise! things were lost in storage. I ordered new DVDs and the book, and started last night. I couldn't believe that Level 1 that used to be easy and boring was such a challenge for me last night. I have been so discouraged because I don't have the strength to walk more than 6 minutes, and for the first time we have no pool. But then I remembered that no matter what, I can breathe and get well and fit. I've been hospitalized for high blood pressure since we've been in our new house. And I have severe side effects to most medications. From here, I have no where else to go but up! I will especially enjoy being in a group with people who know the many benefits of breathing. My goal is to do Oxycise 7 days a week. That's what works for me. If I take even one day off, it can end up being 3 days before I get back on track. Thanks to this group! I haven't even done my ticker yet, but will do that and my page soon.
