Hi. I'm a 42 yr old martial artist who has spent the last 12 years training both my mind and body for my up coming black belt test. This is an achievement that I am very proud of. The funny thing is, when it comes to achieving a weight loss goal, I'm falling short on training my mind, and ultimately my body. I have about 60 lbs to lose and don't seem to have the will power to say "no thanks" to my favorite foods. I am taking steps to a healthier lifestyle, I just need to get my head in the game to stay focussed. How do train my mind for this journey? Any advice?
