Hi Everyone/Anyone, I'm Wendy and I am new to your team, but not to Spark People. More and more I am learning to like this site and all it has to offer. I am in a few more groups and decided to check this one out also. I have 50-60 lbs to lose, so I'll be here for awhile.

I actually joined the sparks a month ago but have just been gradually learning from it. I still don't understand all the points and how to record them, but I want to be fit and reduce my bmi. I am 47 with 4 grown children, I just began a new career as a dental hygienist last year, and have actually put on a lot of weight this year. I am 5'2" teach dance 3 nights a week, work a full 40 hours, at a FQHC medical/dental clinic in the midwest, and weigh 144 lbs. Looking to keep motivated, and want to know if there is anyone out there with my kind of work schedule, I cannot snack and often don't get a chance to drink while dealing with my patients due to the infection control. I need to eat better when I do, often going for wendy's because it's quick. Please get me started on the right track.
