hi! good for you! a great way to use your lunch hour! i went this morning after my kids were all on the bus. i'd like to begin taking an early evening walk, just to move a little after spending the afternoon on the computer.
hi laurel -- wow! you have been thruogh a lot. i didn't need surgery, just cortisone shots. after i got them, i realized how much pain i was living with. anyway, i'm back and really trying to keep my exercising gentle and challenging. how do you mix those 2? i'm just so tired of the yo-yo weight cycle i've been on. like a lot of people i have skinny jeans and fat jeans. some day i'd like just to have the skinny jeans!
I am right there with you! I will be 41 in July. I joined this website, and was feeling great about eating & working out. THEN came back pain that didn't go away-long story short, I am now 6 months post op after having 2 discs removed from my cervical spine. Now I am ready again to get back to working out, slowly, and back to losing weight. I don't want to "diet". I want a life-plan. I have 2 boys, a stepson, married, house, cats & dog, 2 jobs. I don't have to deal with planning separate meals or funky gimmicks. I just need some mental motivation, and a few friends in the same boat knowing they will understand. So here I am!!
i am dieting AGAIN. i lost all my weight from my 3rd baby, but gained it all back. i developed a back problem - bursitis, and stopped exercising. i know how to lose it, but keeping it off is the hardest for me. i belong to a gym, and i just started back slowly. getting to know a lot of new aches and pains that weren't there 6 years ago! hoping to meet others for motivation and support.
