hi, i too am now enjoying life at a slower pace (ankle injury) it has made me stop in my tracks and look at how my life was before.. so instead of everything at 100 miles an hour, and wanting to get things done yesterday.... yes i agree have some fun, get back on track for a week or two, then have a little fun again... i am now hoping to just do things in moderation (inc alcohol.. once a week or every 2 weeks) patience and starting to like yourself again is a great motivator.. as is the SP scale... i will pass that mountain

I was active on Sparkpeople about a year ago and did really well. Since then, I turned 40 and time has gotten away from me.
I'm back and I'm serious (but I like to have fun, too). I'm looking at my life very differently now. It's about being healthy and feeling good. The smaller pant size will follow, but that's not my main goal.
I need more energy to keep up with my blossoming career and being healthier will help that also.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
