Hey MSJY88, I'm with you. I'm 47, and chasing my youngest son, who is 7. I also have two teenagers. Visit my page for team ideas and full story.

I agree with DMBEANER03. Start out slow, and find something you like. I started out with an easy 20-minute walk video from Leslie Sansone. I started doing that 3x/week, back in August 07. I'm now doing her 3-mile walk on alternate days and doing 5+ miles on my stationery bike on the other days.

It takes longer to lose weight in our 40s, but it can be done--slowly, surely and permanently!

Nowaways, no matter how much I diet and try to keep moving...the middle tire keeps growing...really hard to keep motivated...If anyone has any tips and tricks to keep motivated...I would love to hear from you...msjy88
