I agree with DMBEANER03. Start out slow, and find something you like. I started out with an easy 20-minute walk video from Leslie Sansone. I started doing that 3x/week, back in August 07. I'm now doing her 3-mile walk on alternate days and doing 5+ miles on my stationery bike on the other days.
It takes longer to lose weight in our 40s, but it can be done--slowly, surely and permanently!
