Thank you for being so quick to reply to my posting. This is the first time I've ever in the three years since I've had my surgery that I have reached out for any type of support. Thank you so much. Thank you for tips and direction. I will look into the groups that you have pointed me towards and will search for breast cancer survivor teams. I am here for you and your friends if you need support or if I can possibly answer any questions.

This is a great site--it's full of helpful information, great teams, and support. I've been here 6 months and really love it.
To answer your immediate question, check out the fitness pages on SP and look for exercises you can tolerate. Check out the experts questions and answer section and see what applies to you.
Please feel free to visit my page, specifically my teams. There are several that apply to both of us, and you may want to consider joining a few of them. Teams are great for support, ideas, and online friends!
I'm pretty sure there are some teams dedicated to cancer survivors such as yourself. I take a special interest. A good friend of mine (a fellow band mom) is currently recovering from her bi-lateral mastectomy. I am supporting her during our local Avon walk for breast cancer coming up here in June. She is the third mom in my circle of friends this year to be fighting this disease. I also lost a family friend to breast cancer (a woman my age) and my brother to cancer.

Iam having trouble doing any exercises that envolve my upper body, due to a bi-lateral mastectomy. When I try it feel like my inplants are being pushed down and might fall to my knees! Help!!! Iam new, since yesterday, and not sure how all this works. If any one has any ideas of how I can modify these exercises or??? I would apperciate any suggestions. It would be a shame to have to quit befor I even get started. Thank you, lks
