I am in the same boat. Over 40, last child is on her way to college and a husband who wants a divorce. I am ready though to start a new life, a new chapter! I have 50 pounds to lose and I think it sounds like a lot. But I'm gonna take it 10 pounds at a time.

TRISHABE-- loneliness can be a terrible thing and the worst enemy to anyone trying to lose weight. I think I have been lonely for a long time living with my husband, but it seems to be worse now that he is gone. We have to try really hard to put ourselves out there and make friends. It is really hard, but I like to think that this is our chance to start over and make the most of the life we have left. Now is the time for us to love ourselves.
I wish you all the best and keep in touch, really!!! L
