love to knit, read and power walk for fun
I REACHED my GOAL!
I FOUGHT for it!
I WILL NOT give it up!
NOTHING will prevent me from maintaining my HEALTH!
I'm taking drawing and painting with our local Arts Council, also do pottery. I use the Folk Arts Council to do square dancing and salsa, whenever I can get there. It's only once a month for each. Also have a trainer at the gym. I'm starting music classes. I sing in the choir, which is actually quite rewarding. I attend a Bible study. I believe in God and so the study adds depth to the joy of having a relationship with Jesus. I'm sure that sounds preachy, but it really is just how I feel. I am a bit isolated because of ADD, so knowing/believing life will get better gives me a good feeling. I try to actively avoid things that make me feel bad.
Best wishes to everyone, for a good day and success in our efforts.

Play Hearts, Spider Solitaire, go for walks, visit relatives and I enjoy going to work
I like visting places I havent' been to before, enjoy antique stores, hiking, swimming, skiing, I play & like to work with a garden.
I've been in school the past 2 1/2 years and so I've kind of lost ground with what I like or enjoy to do. I very much enjoy spending time with my 15 year old son and my aging parents & sister.
I would like to RUN!!! If I ever can again (get this weight off)

I Love to Read!
I like to host parties for our friends, sometimes themed parties that allow me to let my inner decorator out to play! I also enjoy bellydancing, and I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, which is a medieval re-creation group. I am an avid reader and history buff. I have also just gotten into gardening and have started a small container herb garden for my kitchen this year.
There's a few things I like to do for fun:
Travel and sightsee
Watch my son play college soccer
and now I will add....
I enjoy crocheting. I am somewhat self taught so I can't read a pattern but I know how to do several stitches. Over the last 25 years I have made 17 different afghans, 7 different scarfs and a couple pair of slippers. Coworkers look at me kind of funny because they think of crocheting as something little old grannies do. I am a grandma but far from old ( I'm 49). They can't understand how truly relaxing it is to do.
I enjoy spending time with my grandkids! They all have birthdays coming up soon, so they will be 3, 6 and 7. They are so much fun!
Spending time with my husband. It's a nice feeling that after 26 years together we still love each other and enjoy spending time together.
My husband skydives and I enjoy watching him and the other skydivers. Where we go is a nice 55 acre farm that is almost like a park. It is so nice and relaxing.
I enjoy reading. I got a kindle a few months ago and have been reading a lot more.
I have severe anxiety too, so I am always mindful of keeping a balance of relaxing and fun things in my life.
* garden, and process foods from my garden into yummy meals or preserves.
* play with, hang out with or cuddle my various critters (Cats, snakes, chooks and a turtle)
* read, mostly fantasy/sci fi, non-fiction too
* draw and paint
* work out
* play board and card games with my husband
* watch my favourite TV shows (Downton Abbey, Boardwalk Empire)
* rewatch favorite movies, espeically the trashy romance ones that I refuse to watch if anyone else is around!
5 MILLION Steps challenge - I am going to take 5 MILLION steps between March 1st 2013 and leaving for Europe (around Easter 2014).

one choice at a time, one day at a time.
I am not saying I am perfect, I haven't learned all I should yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for & wants me to be.

Ah, thank you, Linda! I bet you do have fun.
It's a dice game. Reminds me of jacks that I use to play with sister when much younger. 3 tables of 4 ladies each. Lots of laughter & fun! Course we have food & drinks too. I'll see if I can find a link and post it.

Laurie, how fun and lucky of you! A zoo! Wow, what a great place to go for a walk and take pictures!
For fun, I like to sit around and stuff my face, just kidding!
I love being with my husband and watching TV. I even get on the recumbent bike and stay on it for a solid hour.
I love going on FB, and SparkPeople.
I love doing an hour of cardio, I feel like I really had a workout.
I used to love doing needlework, such as hand quilting, needlepoint, cross stitch. My work has ruined my hands, I can't hold a needle for 5 minutes without my fingers going numb.
I also used to love doing stain glass, but I got busy and it was a very expensive hobby.
I also have 2 furry babies (dogs) that I love being with too.

We seem to have a few things in common. First, we are writers!!!! I do a little knitting, starting a hooded scarf for winter because I hate coats--I'd rather wear sweaters, sweat shirts, or jackets, so the hooded scarf is something I've wanted for a while. I crochet, doing it as useable art. For example, my bedroom is very simple in design so I can have my afghans the focal point, what you say wow! to when you walk in. I've not done embroidery in many years. I like doing needlepoint when I can afford the canvas. I want to specialize in needlepoint wall hangings that reflect my heritage and Judaism/love of God.
1 Writing I write stories
2 knitting with needles & knitting board loom
4 embroidering stamped quilts both big ones & baby
5 reading all kind of books
7 watching TV
8 computer game playing & a lot of other things
In these busy and often full days, we don't always remember to do something fun or relaxing. There always seems to be a demand on our time. Because I have severe anxiety, I've had to learn to find things to do every day that are enjoyable and relaxing.
Here are some of the fun and relaxing things I like doing:
1. Writing. I am a writer, working on a book and I write poetry. The book I'm writing can be intense because of the subject matter, but it is actually quite a release for me, an outlet. I love writing!
2. Dancing. I dance even more than I walk. Sometimes I put on old and not so old R&B/Soul (Aretha! Sam Cooke!) or Country or Classical and dance for an hour or more.
3. Watching a favorite television program on Netflix (we've chosen not to have cable). For me, some favorites are "Star Trek: TNG," "Law and Order: SVU," and "Everyone Loves Raymond."
4. Coloring! I looked up intricate coloring pages on Google, and print out designs as I need them. I prefer using Prang colored pencils because they get into the small spaces of intricate designs.
5. Go to the zoo. We live across the street from The Virginia Zoo at Norfolk and have a membership there. We can go as often as we want!
6. Gardening. Some of what I grow are:
