Tina and Bev: emoticon it is so important for our health and well-being. I am taking a recovery day because my abs are sore from doing a Jillian michaels dvd. She kills me every time!

Hi all,

I am just getting started back on the program after a few months away from it... so far only able to do a one mile walk with a leslie sanson tape... but glad I am able to do that... been a trying summer and fall but I am back... on my third day and so far so good.

Hi Tina, I'm glad I could help you out. I made a commitment that I knew I could fulfill. I posted my progress on Facebook every day. It helped to be encouraged by friends and family. I also knew that I was being "watched", so that made me get off the couch a couple of times lol. Good luck!

PS: September 2003 I lost a son in a highway accident. I walked in his honor and memory.

WTG L1ZB3TH354! I need to do that. I was planning 2 miles a day for 6 days starting Oct 1 and I haven't walked once (was a rough week last week with deaths) anyway, excuses, excuses! I made it my goal to start today when I get home, 30 min on treadmill at least 5 days a week and not worry about mileage and be consistant by end of this month! Your post gave me encouragement!

I challenged my self to walk 30 miles in September. I knew that it would get me into a routine. Well, it worked. I am now exercising 4 to 5 times a week. I am doing cardio dvd's with Jillian Michaels, Zumba, kickboxing. I got off the couch and I am just doing it. I hope you can do the same soon. emoticon

Hi, This is Yvonne
After months of sitting around the house, I realized that I need to move more and start back to walking and exercising . My goal is to reach my desire weight by the summer of 2013.
