Love my walking also, We have trails to walk and the scenery is beautiful. My favorite is the trail by the lake.

Got out at 7am this morning and walked 1.45 mile - took about 27 minutes,

Yesterday - doing my chores - in and out of stores- then parked on one site of an intracoastal bridge and walked across - then approx 1/4 mile to the restaurant - after dinner walked another 1/4 mil then back to where the car was parked. Not sure of the total mileage - but my pedometer read 10,421 steps total for the day.

Felt great. Now off to the pool for some reading, relaxing and swimming - will also do some walking the width of the pool...

Enjoy the rest of you Sunday...

Hi and welcome to the team, I think walking is great too emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

The fourth glass of wine is always a good idea before you do it and a really bad idea afterward! ;-)

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

Welcome. One of the best gifts you can give yourself is taking time to build up your walks. Start with 15-30 minutes at a pace you are comfortable with. Walk in a couple of days. Build up, it comes quickly and you will be walking at your goal numbers soon. You can do this.

emoticon you've come to the right place, plenty of support on this site and this team..

Like you I want to Walk Off The Weight - I am going to "RELEASE" it. I went to a Zumba Gold class this morning and boy did I feel like a Klutz....was told it will get easier - it was good, however the time of day does not work for me - so back to walking and doing exercises at home early in the morning - Walking W/Leslie on my way back to that.

Hi my name is Veronica and I would like to start walking and running again. I had an injury and that resulted in gaining weight. I am very motivated because after having a wake-up call when I saw myself in the big mirror, I decided it was time to think about my health and start losing some weight. I'm 45 years old and would like to lose 45 lbs.
