I started at 230 lbs and now have worked my way down to 204 lbs and dropped to 202 as of Christmas. I am up to 12000 steps at least 5 times per week weather permitting along with my dog Snoopy. I was on a plateau for a couple of months not losing weight and found out my body was in starvation mode, so I joined Sparkpeople and started tracking meals and started to lose again. My goal is 175 lbs and then maintain that weight and control my diabetes and cholesterol levels. I am from Nova Scotia Canada and walk the Trans Canada Trail system, there are pictures on my spark page for you to enjoy, of the trail.
