Hi Roger and welcome to SparksPeople. I am encouraged by your weight loss, congratulations!
Emotion may help us get started in the right direction, but it is rarely there at the finish line. Sooner or later we must press forward without the support of emotion and employ discipline.
Welcome to the team.

Lord help me remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I can't handle together.
If ignorance is bliss why arenít more people happy?
on your wonderful success and to Sparkpeople!

I started at 230 lbs and now have worked my way down to 204 lbs and dropped to 202 as of Christmas. I am up to 12000 steps at least 5 times per week weather permitting along with my dog Snoopy. I was on a plateau for a couple of months not losing weight and found out my body was in starvation mode, so I joined Sparkpeople and started tracking meals and started to lose again. My goal is 175 lbs and then maintain that weight and control my diabetes and cholesterol levels.
I am from Nova Scotia Canada and walk the Trans Canada Trail system, there are pictures on my spark page for you to enjoy, of the trail.
