If you are at that point where you really want to do this, you can. Don't get discouraged when things don't change instantly. Consistency is the key, but if you have a bad day, just start over the next day and keep moving. Your glass is half full and you are beautiful! emoticon

Welcome. Starting out slowly with a few healthy habits at a time is a great way to stay consistent. Set some simple measurable goals that you are pretty sure you can achieve and plan a time to reach the goals and a reward when you do.

Choosing habits instead of weight loss or being healthy is more concrete and you are more likely to achieve the goals. You can do this.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this so I hope I'm posting right. I'm just starting out, but in the past, I've had trouble staying motivated. I hope sparkpeople works. I hope in the end that I'm able to help motivate others as well. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. emoticon
