Welcome. Walking has been such a great thing in my life. I love getting out and walking and burning off the extra energy. I'm back to training again and plan to walk a 10K with my daughters and DILs in October. It should be fun for all of us although some can run it, I think we are all walking for solidarity.

Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself to the team. I joined Sparks back in March of 2011, but I'm just getting started this month. I've read so many wonderful stories about members reaching their fitness goals through the Walking Off the Weight Team. I've also had family members achieve great results from walking too, so I know it works. I purchased the highly recommended Omron pedometer (Model HJ-112) yesterday at REI and I'm ready to go. My goal is to lose 50-60 pounds and to become more healthy and fit. I'm looking forward to meeting some great people here and helping others along the way.
