Hi welcome to the team. I am pretty new too, and I love that there is a walker's team. You could walk with the kids, either with the kids in a stroller or the kids biking. Good for them, good for you. You don't have to set any land speed records to have benefit from walking. Also, could hubby watch the kids so you could go for a walk? I am sure he would be happy if you felt good and lost a couple of pounds. Or trade baby sitting with a friend or neighbor. SP is also full of ideas for exercising with the kids. I don't know if you are on any parent teams, but there must be info there also. Also remember that the turtle won the race so it is better to take things slow and easy and change your life one little bit at a time.

I have been on the sparks site for a while. I have not had much success, just up & down. Motivation has been a big issue! I used to walk a lot (pre-kids) about 2-4 miles a day. Walking was always my way of unwinding at the end of the day. I want to get back to that!
