Hey...don't let the chilly weather hold you back! I love to walk with a destination...be it the store, coffee with a friend, or the bus to work. Bundle up in layers, mittens, scarf and good traction shoes and hit the snowy sidewalks always being aware of frostbite and your own limitations. I particularly love how beautiful and quiet my neighborhood is when it is shrouded in snow in the morning. Today in my part of the Rockies it will be staying in the single digits.

I am new to this post and this is my first post and I am a walkaholic! I do strength training, but I walk/jog 30-45 mins on my treadmill 6 days a week. Once I fall off the wagon and get back on, walking is where I begin. It has helped me achieve results and I enjoy doing it. Hopefully I can read up on what others are doing while they walk. Once it warms up here, I will be walking my subdivision. Good luck everyone!
