Welcome to the Team Darleen. Walking is such great exercise. I lost 40lbs just by walking. Sad to say I put 30lb back on, but that's because I stopped working out for while because my mom was sick. But now I'm back walking again and I've already lost 5-6lbs.
Good to have you with us! I am using walking as my main form of exercise and so far I've lost 15 pounds and have gained a whole lot of appreciation for walkers! Sometimes I don't want to get ready to go outdoors but once I'm in the groove, I feel great!
