Welcome both of you. Healthy eating and walking every day (or nearly everyday) helped me lose 120 pounds. It was hard work, but I felt so good walking.
I got audio books and listen to a chapter when I walk. At first it was 15 minutes but by the end of a few months I could walk 5 miles without batting an eyelash. I have arthritis and the pain of arthritis was less and I felt stronger and better than ever before.
Walking is the single exercise that people who lose weight and maintain weight loss do regularly. Some can run but you can't do that all your life and you can walk.

Well I just figured out how to get my weight measuring tape with my post. LOL..... I posted and there it was. Well, that was easy enough. My weight started at 305 0r 307 and I have managed to lose a little. Although Halloween just passed and I did get into the kids candy a little so I might have gained some weight back. Why is it so hard?
Hi, I am new to this group and I was wondering if someone could help me with putting my weight loss measuring tape with my posts. I have tried to figure it out and I am having no luck. I have started walking only a few minutes a day, I am severely overweight and have been completely sedentary for quite some time so I am starting out slow. I have managed to lose a few pounds and I hope to continue walking until I can walk at least 30-40 mins. and not be winded.
