Give yourself time to adjust to the new pattern. If you can drink 5 glasses of the 8 aim for a 6 for a few days until it gets easier. Walking buddies are sometimes hard to come by. Mine is my ipod and I listen to audiobooks and podcasts. Consider a dog and if you can't have a dog, do what I do sometimes and borrow one. Many of my friends and neighbors have dogs that never get enough walking and they are happy to lend them to me to exhaust them.

Welcome. I've tried walking with others. It was always hard to get our schedules together. It would be nice, but I've learned to walk with the dog (another buddy, but this one is pretty captive) and listen to books on my mp3.

Hi I'm carrie I'm 41 years old and this is my eight day being on a diet. i love to walk but it will be nice to have a buddy to walk with and to motivate each other today i did not drink the a amount of water that i was suppose to today and i did not do my calories count today.
