Its actually called a Pedometer
I have the Omron HJ112. And its computerized cousin HJ720
only difference is the 720 can be downloaded to your computer
but they both track steps, as well as aerobic steps. (steps walked over 10 minutes or over a certain pace) it also tracks miles and calories burned. It has a clock feature.
you can wear it pretty much any where on your right side of the body, carried in a pocket, tucked into your bra, on your waist band, it comes with a leash that keeps it from falling onto the floor or toilet.
It is very acurate.
I got mine at my local walmart in the pharmacy department.
costs around $30 (Canadian)
pricey maybe, but considering you buy 3 $10 ones, that are crappy and fall on the floor or need a new battery and still doesn't work when you put that in... save the money and buy a better one.
