Welcome. I am also newer to the Sparkpeople. It is great to hear that you have an instant cheering section with you when you walk. That is awsome. Good Luck towards your goal.

to SP and the team. You are on the right road. Pushing your husband increases the amount of effort you have to put into your walk. He is an added bonus. Keep up the great work.

Hello, I just joined Sparkpeople yesterday. I am a 52 year old mother with a full time job. I have been walking 2 times a day at work on our breaks and now also walk in the evenings with my husband. I normally do any where from 2 to 3 miles in the evening. My husband is not able to walk distances so I push him in his wheelchair. I think that gives me more of a workout but not real sure. I am needing to lose about 30 pounds total but have a short term goal of 10 pounds by vacation in June. Hope I get there.
