Hello, I just joined Sparkpeople yesterday. I am a 52 year old mother with a full time job. I have been walking 2 times a day at work on our breaks and now also walk in the evenings with my husband. I normally do any where from 2 to 3 miles in the evening. My husband is not able to walk distances so I push him in his wheelchair. I think that gives me more of a workout but not real sure. I am needing to lose about 30 pounds total but have a short term goal of 10 pounds by vacation in June. Hope I get there.
