I am starting off slowly as I learn my way around Spark....am reading the book that I picked up yesterday and today at least got out and walked for 10 minutes and ate a healthy dinner. My problem is there is a lot of food I don't like and I tend to not eat except for dinner and occaisionally when I get home from work in the morning. Working at night causes problems of its own with knowing when to eat ad not eat. Hope to meet my goals and meet some new friends along the way.

take your time and get back into exercise slowly so you don't injure yourself anymore- track your food-that is an eye opener!!!!!

Welcome to the team! I am so sorry to hear about your injury, but good for you in finding ways to be active. Starting out slow is a great way to get back into walking, it can certainly take some time to get back in shape.

Hello...my name is Karen and I am just starting this program. I am trying to get fit and healthy and have 50 lbs to lose. I love to walk but becasue I haven't done so in so long it's hard getting started again but today I did walk for 10 minutes. I also have to weaar a brace on my one foot due to torn ligaments and I can't tkae 3-4 months off from work to get it fixed so for now it's the brace I deal with but at least I can walk pain free now. I am looking forward to getting to know people here and finally get back into shape.
