Hi Lyn. The more you walk the more you will miss it if you don't do it. It's addictive~!
I was walking 3-5 miles a day and over 100 miles a month, before I just hurt my foot. It will be maybe a week before I'm back up to speed. I only walk about 3 MPH. Sometimes a bit better. Depends on the day.
Using the tracker for your mileage when walking outside is great. The one on Spark People is easy to use and really gives an accurate mileage count.
