It has been happening for three days in a row...for some reason whenever I get on that treadmill and when the timer says I have been walking for 40 minutes, I find the new courage to convince myself you are gonna make it for another 20 minutes! Funny how my mind gets fired up when I reach a 40 minutes! I was honestly only planning to walk for 20 minutes when I came in to the gym, or at least I had to tell myself that to get myself going to the gym! However, had I officially made it a goal, the pressure comes on and I cringe! I had to tell myself youre going to do slow-steady no pressure walk tonight...Isn't that funny and ridiculous?!

Welcome. Walking is the single activity that most people who lose weight and keep it off do. You can walk anywhere and need no gym or fancy equipment although you probably should replace your shoes every 300-500 miles.
Track your intake and make sure to stay in your calorie range. You can do this.

Welcome and enjoy! As an X-long distance runner, I am thankful to be able to walk again. It is so lovely to get out in the fresh air (as long as it doesn't freeze my face off!) Opens your sinus and helps you breath deep. I know you will really enjoy this site! ;-))

This is a life saving website/tool for those who want to lose and not spend a fortune! I have been recently been a couch potato but I went back to the gym today hoping to leisurely walk 40 minutes...I ended up doing interval walking for a whole hour! I think something in my body and mind just told me "you need the workout take care of your health" and was I feeling stressed-relieved afterward!
