Hey everyone... I'm a graduate student in psychology with hypothyroidism. I had a lot of trouble getting diagnosed (almost a year) and I'm still not feeling awesome. In high school, I weighed 135 and was maybe a bit too thin for my height, but now I'm at 188lbs, despite eating healthy and exercising as often as a graduate student can. I am now trying Alli to help a bit; haven't had any negative side effects so far.
I like to play tennis and soccer, read, write, play video games, and do research. I'm a teaching assistant this semester and I am pretty excited to start. I get my Masters after this semester and then I'm off to... wherever accepts me. I've put in applications and now I'm playing the wonderful waiting game.
I don't really know what else to say.
"I expected more. Where I come from... you're soft."
It is important to be strong on the inside as well as the outside.
