Hello from Oklahoma. Glad to find a group to learn and support each other. Over a year ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's. It started with my annual trip to the gyn. I have a wonderful doctor who does a full head to toe exam/physical. He felt a lump on my thyroid...And my journey began. Lumps are benign and meds are stable for now. I was actually glad to finally know what was going on. Despite my TSH levels rising, they had always been "in range" therefore I was so frustrated at my mystery weight gain. I exercise most days and watch my eating. Sparkpeople really helps me keep it in check.
Thanks for all who share on the forum. Have a blessed day!
