I have struggled with my weight my whole life and decided maybe it's time to try something new, so I joined sparkpeople.com.
My weight has been up and down for the past 5 years. I actually LOST 20 pounds my first semester at college! But I gained it all back plus some after that. My highest weight was 212 by the end of high school, and up until a few months ago that had been my highest weight ever. But within the past 3 years my weight has steadily crept up and now I'm at 235, the highest weight of my life! UGH! It's honestly depressing to think that's actually how much I weigh.
But my motivation now is to lose 50lbs by graduation! I know that may be a little overzealous (I only have 6 months) but I'm seriously ready for a change this time! I am disgusted with myself right now and NEED to make this change. My health has been perfect my whole life but I've never been this heavy and there's no way I'll stay this "healthy" if I continue living this way.
So here's to more veggies, more exercise, and more confidence and less carbs, less snacking, and less shame.
I'd love to get to know some people on here. I think having some motivation and someone to check in with would be really helpful for me. So if you are looking for the same, message me!!
