Hi there! My name is Stephanie and I'm 23 and happily married with no children yet. I've been a member of SP for about a year and a half now. I plateau a lot, but I've managed to lose about 30 pounds and keep it off. That's almost halfway to my "soft" weight loss goal (I'd maybe like to go a little further, but I know where I'd at least be happy at).
Recently (as in the last week or so recently) I've been really throwing myself into my running program and strength training workouts. I've always loved going on walks and have thought to myself how amazing it'd be to actually be in shape enough to be a runner. I've decided to stop putting it off (it was a damn cold winter, huh?!) and finally start training. I knew I could do it because last year I had managed to run a mile to completion for the first time in my life. I was really sporadic with SP because I had to work a lot, from previously being a housewife, but I tried to do the best I could for those 8 months and I at least maintained my (at the time) 20 pound weight loss. Now I use Nike Plus to coach me and set running goals and challenges for myself, and I'm absolutely addicted!
I love cooking, reading, running, and gaming, and I'd always love to have more sparkfriends! I wish you all the best of luck with your goals!
