You've found a lot of ways to keep active already. Certainly classes have a great appeal because the occur with a regular schedule. You can find/create lots of other ways to stay active on your own, but they are easier to push aside when time is tight: walking, swimming, biking, hiking. They're mostly individual things that don't have the social appeal that a class does.

I think I am going to like to come here!
I do like to have fun and do want to keep active. I have so much to live for...4 adult children and 8 great grandchildren, who think I am pretty neat too. Also a husband of almost 49 years.

Hi Margie and welcome to this team, We are so glad you joined us. I love Zumba and walking with Leslie S. I also have a stability ball and weights that I use. I do a lot of walking and I love the knit and to crochet as well as designing my knittables.

Looking forward to learning about more fun ways to keep active and by the name of this group, it looks like I came to the right place.

I recently attended a Zumba class and went for a Curves introduction and purchased the Leslie Sanson DVD for walking and using the Stability ball. I am planning to try all of these ways to get active! Besides this I have a treadmill and am planning to use it more. I enjoy reading and this is a great place to do it.

I love the positive motivation on Sparks and love being part of it. Looking forward to meeting you folks here!
