Hey Gayle, welcome to the team and congratulations on your progress so far. I love walking but I have also come to appreciate the importance of strength training. I mostly workout using DVDs. have fun losing it!
hello and welcome congrats on the lbs lost I pretty much have the same workout stuff, I do everything at home thruogh SP teams And sp demos, also some workout videos I have.doing great and loving it!!!of course I fall a little here and there but I ask SP members for help right away and I get it!!! keep up the good work

Congrats on the weight loss!! I do alot of different things for exercise. Today I took a body sculpting class and water aerobics. I also walk alot outside, ride my bike, and take a Zumba class 2X a week. I have found if you mix it up, you don't get bored!! Good luck!!

Congratulations on your loss so far - what a great job! I have been doing the elliptical machine at home then sometimes the stationary bike for my cool down. About once or twice a week I do some arm exercises with weights. Unfortunately, I do not do a whole hour, usually about 40 minutes! Maybe I should add that extra 20 minutes like you have been doing!
Hi everyone (waiving from North Carolina) ! I joined sparkpeople 26 days ago and so far lost 11 pounds. So excited to get this fat off, only this time for good ! Would love to see what ya'll do for exercise. Right now I walk the treadmill 3 miles a day in 1 hour, making it a 20 minute mile. Each day I strive to go further and have gone 3.15 miles 2 times already. I have tried a couple of the spark strength exercises as well. I have an exercise ball, 2 3 pounds weights and my husband made me a step up board. So there ya have it...my tools so to speak.
