I would start with setting small achievable goals to kick it up a notch. AFter you reach each goal and it has become a part of your healthy lifestyle add a new step and goal to your program. emoticon

Keeping track of what you eat and the exercise you do is a very important part in learning to live a healthier lifestyle (it has been for me that's for sure).

SP has so much to offer and also has the best fellow members anywhere!

SP tips...

Keep posting...celebrate successes and reach out for support.

Drink plenty of water.

Use the trackers.

Be a goal setter and a goal getter.

Exercise 10 minutes (or more!) most days.

Read articles.

Try the videos.

Not all this at once. Pick a couple of these tips or set some goals of your own and be consistent.

Really getting around and learning all about this site. The one thing that I think has really made a difference this time is journaling. I have never been that good at recording my food and Sparkpeople has made that alot easier to keep up with. I have been exercising over the years, but I am really trying to step it up this time. Over 50 and its time to take control of my health. This program may be what I need to get it right this time. Any helpful hints??
