I like to mix up my workouts. I do lunch walks at work; pilates, belly dance, cardio kickboxing. Plus there is so much of life that can be into exercise. While rocking my 6 month old granddaughter, I had an AHA moment that done right this can help me to get fit.

Hi, I'm Jae. I'm on the way to losing the weight I've re-gained in the last year and am looking for other ways to work out. I like...no, I LOVE walking, and I'm looking for support and ideas for other low cost ways to get fit. I'm over 50 and my metabolism has slowed down a lot so I want to challenge myself with a little variety, so I can continue to lose the extra weight.

emoticon I love to dance fast to my CD's. It is exercise but it is fun at the same time! I find if I don't like something I won't do it. So I really
love to dance, swim and do DVD's. Have fun in whatever you do amd you will keep it up! We are all in this Healthy Journey together! We Can Do This!

That does sound like fun :)
I was actually looking forward to playing sports games, just to see if there's potentially a sport out there that I would enjoy actually playing. I'm having fun so far with the basics, but will be on the look out for the next step. The balance board seems like a good investment.

I graduated from Arapahoe HS many years ago! If you like Biggest Loser, that can be a tough workout. We got started with Sports Resort just playing games and then broke down and bought the balance board for xmas. Now we compete against each other on Fit Plus.

Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.

I live in CO too! It's a goal of mine to get out and enjoy what our lovely state has to offer, once the weather allows. We just got a Wii a couple weeks ago too, but only have a couple games at this point. Nothing that's terribly fitness oriented, but that is on my list of things to do sometime.

Welcome Heather! I've found that doing something different every day keeps me motivated. We got a Wii in October and that has really added lots of variety. It turned my husband from a confirmed couch potato into a workout fiend.

I live in Colorado, so whenever the weather is nice, I go for a walk to the store. Then, I alternate with my stationary bike and Wii workouts.

Hi there! I've been on Spark for a couple months now, but just decided to search out newn groups that could keep me motivated. This one seems to be right up my alley. I know that I need to have fun and stay away from feeling bored if I'm to keep on track. I have never liked exercise, except yoga. I hardly count that, because I don't like the forms that feel like a workout. But I keep hearing that it's so important to find a physical activity that you truly enjoy, so I'm working on that. Hopeful that reading what you all write here may give me some good ideas.
