Welcome Birdie. I certainly admire you for your efforts despite your hip replacements. I think it's an excellent idea to start a walking program. I'm in Toronto Canada and am also a walker. I did my first 1/2 marathon last Sept and am registered for another in May! So good luck to you and welcome to a great group!
